EconoTales — The Digital Pathway

EconoTales provides EconAbility’s existing digital foundation: story-driven choices where scarcity, trade-offs, uncertainty and consequences become visible.

The digital mechanics already exist. EconAbility is adapting them for a new purpose: accessible everyday decision-making with neurodivergent people and families.

About

Stories become decisions. Decisions reveal what matters.

EconoTales is Helen’s existing digital simulation format, using familiar stories and interactive choices to make scarcity, trade-offs, risk and consequences visible.

For EconAbility, EconoTales is being adapted from an education-oriented game concept into an accessibility-led decision-simulation format. The existing product demonstrates technical delivery and interactive decision mechanics; the new work tests how those mechanics can support inclusion and participation.

From story to reflection

Every scenario follows a simple decision-making journey.

Built around real decisions

EconoTales keeps the interaction simple while making complex ideas visible.

The aim is not to find a single correct answer. It is to make different pathways, constraints and consequences easier to understand and discuss.
